Contemporary American, Fine Dining, Wine Bar
Veritas is just one of those places we’ve never been. Not for lack of putting it on ‘the list’ year after year. We finally stopped in after my work Christmas party for a glass of wine. We looked at New Year’s Eve reservations, but at $195/person we decided to stay in! But anyway, while the restaurant may be a little pricey even on a regular day, they do have a lovely bar. Of course the wine prices might kill you too, but for a special occasion, why not? We each had a glass of the ’07 Tollot-Beaut Aloxe-Corton Burgundy for a mere $24 a piece for a total of $52.26 with tax. We decided to go over to Craft for a less expensive drink afterwards!
Anyway, below is a nice bar menu. Perhaps a nosh and a lovely glass of wine? We’ll definitely do it. Most times we’ve passed it has been completely full, but if by chance there’s a spot at the bar…
