Kittichai is located on the ground floor of the Thompson Hotel in Soho. The atmosphere at is very elegant and service is formal. TheThai fusion-style food was excellent, but for the price the servings were quite small. We went during restaurant week but passed on the Prix Fixe, which lacked interesting items. This restaurant is definitely worth doing for a special occasion.
Our favorites were the rock shrimp and dessert. But for the best rock shrimp tempura in town, visit Lure Fishbar nearby at Prince & Mercer.
