We were staying at the El Dorado Hotel and heard the chef was formerly of French Laundry, so we booked dinner our first night in town. It was a great start to our trip in wine country. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, yet relaxing. Of note, the bar at this hotel is worth a stop, even without a meal. There is an outdoor garden courtyard to enjoy your concoctions.
