Bustan NYC

Sometimes we feel like everything is so ‘been-there-done-that’ it isn’t even motivating enough to write it up, as evidenced by my lack of motivation for the last year.  We tend to take a few Instagrams and call it a day.  Well, Bustan NYC was a most refreshing change.  It is a rare thing for us to head to the Upper West Side for any reason.  We happened to plan an outing to the Macy’s Thanksgiving … Continue reading

Grand Banks

Grand Banks

Telepan Local – CLOSED

It was a bit more about being chic, which is neither an insult or a compliment. It was just different. Of course we felt at home there immediately! We’d spent the day chowing down at The Publican AND Avec, so Tavernita was up … Continue reading

Stuzzicheria – CLOSED

The atmosphere  at Stuzzicheria was quite nice. Very clean and simple. Although I’m thinking they are going to have trouble with the floor. The grout is too low and the tiles are uneven. It looks like a formula for tons of dirt buildup over the years! The concept here is all shared plates.  The food was all delicious, but the ‘shared’ portions are tiny. There were 3 of everything, so we had to split the … Continue reading
